Parenting or child rearing promotes and supports the physical, emotional, social, spiritual and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood. Parenting refers to the intricacies of raising a child and not exclusively for a biological relationship.

Hello I am 54 F and I have two amazing daughters with their own children now. My youngest gave birth just a few months ago. It has striked me that since they are mother's they should also receive gifts from me on mother's day just like they give every year. Should I do it?

Sarah, a 42-year-old marketing executive, recently divorced with two teenage kids, has been dating Tom, a 45-year-old software engineer who is also divorced, for eight months. Tom has asked Sarah to move in with him, and she is uncertain about the timing and implications of such a big step. How long should you date before moving in together in your 40s? Any advice?
More than timeline its about other factors like how much trust do you have on this person, do you feel you are compatible, is he/she completing your needs, and do you feel safe around them, i would suggest listen to your gut feeling and also practical considerations like financial stability etc because there’s no perfect time to move in it depends on mutual agreement and collaboration

Hi I want to lose my weight and please help me to motivate myself consistent. Guide me to lose weight bcoz am a mother of 14months old
Hi there, I hope you are well. - Motivation will usually last for a few days or weeks, however, discipline can last forever. - To lose weight, you will have to bring in discipline in your daily routine. - You need to prepare yourself mentally as well as physically. - Stay determined that you won't give up and start by making small changes in your routine. - Start by incorporating more fibre in the diet. Eat two servings of fruits, a bowl of salad for lunch as well as dinner daily. - Avoid packaged, ultra-processed and refined foods. - Eat in portions. - Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily. - Add protein to each of your meals, even snacks. - Have mid-meals or healthy snacks. - Start your morning with handful nuts, or seeds. - Keep a tab on your salt, sugar, and oil intake. - Have home-made meals that are easier to digest. - Get at least 7-8hrs of sleep on a regular basis. - Go for a walk at least 4 times a week. - Manage stress levels my meditation and yoga. I hope this helps ✨

Hey Rachael! How about a personalized photo album or a spa gift set? Both are thoughtful and can be found within your budget.👍

Should a husband buy Mother's Day gifts for his wife, or should that be up to the kids?
Anonymous10d
In my opinion, some husbands should choose to buy gifts for their wives on Mother's Day, while others may leave it to the kids to express their appreciation.
Anonymous12d
Depends on the age of kids. Even Husband can give on behalf of kids.

Sometimes my mom think she's not a good mother or a smart woman just because she didn't enter college and is a house mommy. What can I do for her on Mother's Day? I am a young adult.
Anonymous11d
Let her know you appreciate her sacrifices and the love she's given you. You could write her a heartfelt letter or spend quality time together doing something she enjoys.
Anonymous12d
You can spend time with her and communicate it to her how important she is for you and about what all she has done for you. Make her feel special. Go out and relive your childhood memories with her.

How do I approach my daughter about not calling or greeting me on Mother's Day? It really hurt my feelings, and I want to express that to her in a constructive way.
You can just call or convey it directly to her but in a more gentle way, not like you are expressing your anger over her. Jut tell her that I was expecting you to wish me and you didn't so I felt a little bad about it.

How can I offer comfort and support to someone on Mother's Day who is grieving the loss of their mother? I want to find the right words to convey my empathy and let them know that they're not alone during this difficult time.
Anonymous11d
Acknowledge their loss, express sympathy, and offer support. Say something like, I'm here for you if you need to talk or if there's anything I can do to help you through this difficult day.Showing empathy and understanding is key.

I am a mother and an educator in charter schools and ABC Youth Foundation. I host several podcast it's a huge passion of mine and I also produce I strongly feel that empathy is the glue of humanity and without it what do we have for understanding one another and being kind toward one another is what keeps Us human it's what makes it work and without it what can possibly get better you must hold on to that and remember and show it where it's needed so that people can know what it is and be able to show that same to others connecting and growing with others is within the foundations of empathy that's how the world gets better so we can understand we don't have to directly know one another we must be that change and it starts with us, we must be the change we want to see!more
