About the role

coto is a leading emotional wellness platform offering 24x7 live consultations globally across astrology, tarot, numerology and relationship counselling. We're a global organization with offices in Singapore, Mumbai and Delhi.

We're looking for a proactive, people-centric HRBP to support and drive HR initiatives across a large employee population of 300+ professionals — enhancing engagement, improving retention, driving performance excellence and fostering a high-performance culture.

The ideal candidate brings business acumen, employee relations expertise and organizational development capability, with the ability to influence stakeholders and implement people strategies aligned to business objectives.

What you'll do

  • Business partnering — Partner closely with leaders and managers to understand workforce challenges and build effective people strategies; act as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, engagement and talent management.
  • Performance & talent development — Drive the end-to-end performance management process (goal setting, reviews, calibration, feedback); monitor Business Quotient (BQ) progress; identify high-potential talent and build development plans; partner with L&D on leadership capability.
  • Employee relations & retention — Serve as the primary HR contact for employee concerns, conflict resolution and workplace investigations; identify high-risk attrition and implement proactive retention strategies; support managers through difficult conversations; maintain HR documentation and reports; drive continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.

What we're looking for

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, Employee Engagement, Talent Management or Employee Relations.
  • Experience supporting large employee populations (200+) in fast-paced environments, with a track record of driving engagement, retention and performance initiatives.
  • Preferred: experience in high-growth, high-attrition environments; background in BPO, consulting, startups or similar people-intensive industries; exposure to organizational development and change management.
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management; ability to influence decision-making and build credibility across levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, coaching and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Data-driven approach to identifying trends and translating HR metrics into actionable strategies.
  • A genuine employee-centric mindset — empathy, active listening and a passion for great employee experiences.
