Hi… people do not really change. But when we like someone and we know just a little about them, we try to fit them into our definition of ideal partner. Later on when we come to know each other, the real us, we may not like so many things about each other . But by that time we are obsessed about making the relationship work rather than accepting that maybe we are not right for each other. Dating someone that we might like is basically the process to know each other. The next step is to become exclusive to spend more time with each other, and know not just them but ourselves. It is very important to be honest to ourselves. If all the things about them and about the relationship are not as we expected or as should be we need to accept the fact first, then see if both of us are willing to change for each other. If not be prepared to accept and move on. Expressing our love and going for commitment without going through the steps would certainly bring in pain.
