Having worked with brands like Radio City, Radio Mirchi, Sun Tv Network, Wizcraft International, she has been instrumental in creating key brand tentpoles and accelerating revenue and reach for these brands. A natural leader, she has headed large creative / brand marketing teams and has bagged over 25 awards for creative excellence. Her longest stint remains with Radio City for 8 years where she headed the Brand Solutions department nationally for their 40 station network. An expert in copy, design and production; her forte remains understanding the brand's persona and crafting effective brand stories with the right media mix to ensure brand salience and efficacy. Maya is an accomplished and versatile singer who has been enthralling audiences through stage and TV shows from the age of 7. She first came into the lime light as a finalist in the SS Music "Voice Hunt" and "Super Singer" of Vijay TV and went on to perform both as a playback singer and a stage artiste. She is a playback singer in the South Indian Film industry with many hit songs to her credit and has worked with some of the greatest music icons such as Ilayaraja, AR Rahman, GV Prakash, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Harris Jeyraj, Selva Ganesh, Benny Dayal, Leslie Lewis, Devi Sri Prasad, Ghibran, Imman, Vijay Antony, Javed Ali and Drums Sivamani.
