Vadodara, also known as Baroda in Gujarati, is the second largest city in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is the administrative centre of the Vadodara district and is located on the banks of the Vishwamitri River, 141 kilometres (88 miles) from Gandhinagar, the state capital. Vadodara is served by the railway line and National Highway 8, which connects Delhi and Mumbai. The city was named from the profusion of Banyan (Vad) trees. Vadodara is also known locally as the Sanskari Nagari.Description about Vadodara Sanskari Association - This community will help us understand more about the culture of Vadodara, as well as the current news and events taking place in the city. This group will also help us learn more about the women who are becoming entrepreneurs, as well as how the queens are leading the charge in Vadodara to make it a smart city. We will also focus on social events and charitable activities so that this group can inspire all of us to work harder for our city's rural development.
