Roughly one in six applicants joins. Not because of prestige — because a member telling coto something they've told no one deserves a practitioner who can hold it.

Before you apply.
Do I need a formal certification?
For most modalities, yes — formal training or certification in at least one practice, which we verify. For traditions passed on through lineage rather than certificates, tell us about your teacher and your practice history in the application and we’ll review it properly.
Is this employment or freelance?
You practice as an independent professional. You choose your hours, your formats and the sessions you take. coto handles discovery, payments, safety and support, and takes a published share of each session.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. There is no application fee, no listing fee, no subscription and no charge for training or onboarding. If anyone tells you otherwise, it isn’t us — write to experts@coto.world.
How much can I earn?
It depends on your modality, the formats you take, your tier and the hours you hold. Your rate is confirmed in writing at onboarding before you take a single session. We don’t advertise headline figures we can’t guarantee.
How and when do I get paid?
Monthly, to your bank account, in your local currency. Your dashboard shows minutes consulted, ratings and pending payout in real time.
Do I have to bring my own clients?
No. That’s the point of coto. Members find you through the platform. You’re welcome to tell your existing clients you practice here, but nothing depends on it.
Can I practice part-time?
Yes — many of our experts hold a clinic, a studio or a day job alongside coto. We ask for at least 10 hours a week in slots you choose and keep, because members plan around your availability.
Which countries can I apply from?
Any country. We’re anchored in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and Singapore, and we review applications from everywhere as we keep expanding.
Which languages do you need?
English, plus one more language — an Indian regional language or an international one. List everything you speak comfortably in a session.
What if I’m not selected?
You’ll hear from us either way, with a reason. You’re welcome to reapply after six months, and we’ll keep your application on file for markets and modalities we open later.
