I am still somehow, and used to be at the most, very dis-confident and knowingly underestimate myself while talking to anybody. I was shy, could not wear cool clothes, as I always had a doubt “Am I capable to look extra in front of them?”. I also had fear, never talked to someone without underestimating myself, was never able to put forward my words/views in a mass as I was afraid of. How can I change myself and improve my self-confidence? I worry about what others think about me and I’d rather know about other people than talk about myself. I compare myself with others and feel worthless.
the very first thing you can do is to accept yourself. love the way you are. see for yourself how beautiful you are, how talented you are, how strong you are. think about the times you faced your troubles yourself and overcome it by ur own. Girl you did it... the things you've done and achieved was all done by you. so realise how strong, bright and smart you are. and stop comparing yourself with others. everyone is different in their own ways. and each of us have our own purpose. none other than oneself can do it. so you dont have to be like them ..you are you. so be yourself. you can start with speaking up infront of a mirror.
