قبل ما تيأسي من علاج تساقط الشعر من الضروري معرفة ما هو سبب و نوع التساقط لان تساقط الشعر انواع وراثي او هرموني او بسبب بعض الأمراض الأخرى مثل الثعلبه و صدفية الرأس و اسباب كثر و لذلك من الضروري عمل التحاليل اللازمه للتعرف علي سبب و نوع التساقط و اختيار العلاج المناسب
