Mm,

Okay, so Rakhi is coming up, and I have a question. Can you tie a rakhi on literally anyone's wrist? Like, what's the deal with who can and can't get a rakhi? My friend said something about it being for brothers, but is that a super strict rule, or can you tie one on someone else's wrist too?
The word “Rakhi” does not have a full form as it is not acronym.
Raksha means protection
Bandhan means bond or tie

Ugh, Rakhi shopping is confusing! Everyone talks about rakhis, but what does it even stand for? Is there a secret meaning behind the whole rakhi tradition, or is it just the name of the bracelet thingy we do every year as a lovely and beautiful tradition?
There is no specific rules or restrictions about who can tie a Rakhi to whom as per astrological perspective.

my brother is always in haste to remove rakhi after i tie it on raksha bandhan. When is a good time to remove it??
Traditionally, it should be worn till it wears off by itself. But if he is in a haste to remove make sure you dispose it respectfully or keep it safely.
Hi dear this Raksha Bandhan you tie the Rakhi to your brother's choice then definitely he will wear Rakhi for someday.
When I tied the rakhi on my brother's wrist last Raksha Bandhan, I wondered about the significance of the way it's tied. What is the traditional way from a female perspective? Are there specific rituals or customs that should be observed?
Hi anonymous ... I am neha , a tarot reader . Yes there are rituals to be followed like lighting a Diya , performing Aarti , apply a tilak and say a small prayer or wishes to god for your brothers well being . But the most important thing is to believe in the ritual and perform it with your heart . So even if u miss out a step Dnt bother coz the entire process is carried with good intention and energies .
You shouldn't be worried at all. There is no particular way or ritual to tie the knot. Rakshabandhan is all about enjoying the bond between you and your sibling.
I want to start my bangle business again .And I am interested in designing. And I am looking the way out to get the orders. Can anyone help me.

After the Rakhi tying ceremony, for how long are we supposed to wear the Rakhi? Is there a specific time to take it off, or does it stay on until it wears out naturally? I don't want to offend anyone by keeping it on for too long or taking it off too soon!
As per the Hindu tradition, the rakhi thread should be removed eight days after Raksha Bandhan, on the day of Krishna Janmashtami.
