People need to understand what Nepotism is. Merely being the son or daughter of a celebrity does not make one a product of Nepotism. there has to be a favouritism and can be from any friend / relative too. Nepotism exists everywhere. Even in the legal field that I am from. While it's a disadvantage to not have relatives in the field.....I made my way the best I could and got into corporate law. Every parent or as Shruti mentioned group of people (bollywood) promotes someone who is not worthy, that's Nepotisim. It's unfair to those who live on the other side but don't take away from those who work hard in their field With or without nepotism. I admire Shruti for all she has achieved. immensely talented.

Nepotism is every where and only nepotism doesn't support it's also individuals effort to take him or her way long.... In every industry there is nepotism Ambani is also going to give his business to his son n daughter only but they have to work hard to maintain the same pace. similarly in film industry as well. Although one can get support with the nepotism but they as have to work anonymously

one should judge by his or her talent ,no matter whether he/she belongs to a well known family

everyone thinks that if someone is daughter or son of any high profile or media fame then it was very easy for their career but it was not true
