भगवान गणेश को प्रसन्न करने के लिए ये उपाय अपनाए जा सकते हैं: भगवान गणेश को प्रणाम करें, आचमन करें और माथे पर तिलक लगाएं. भगवान गणेश को पंचामृत से स्नान कराएं. उन्हें वस्त्र, जनेऊ, चंदन, दूर्वा, अक्षत, धूप, दीप, शमी पत्ता, पीले पुष्प और फल चढ़ाएं. भगवान गणेश को लाल सिंदूर लगाएं. भगवान गणेश को मोदक प्रिय है, इसलिए उन्हें मोदक अर्पित करें. मोदक को सबसे पहले किसी बालक को खिलाएं. भगवान गणेश को पीला रंग बहुत पसंद है, इसलिए उन्हें पीले चंदन का तिलक लगाएं और पीला चंदन अर्पित करें. भगवान गणेश को अक्षत के रूप में भीगे हुए चावल अर्पित करें. शमी के कुछ पत्ते गणेश जी को चढ़ाएं, इससे घर में सुख-शांति बनी रहेगी. बुधवार के दिन गणेश जी की पूजा के साथ चालीसा का पाठ करें. मनोकामना पूर्ति के लिए हर बुधवार को गणेश जी के मंदिर जाएं और बार-बार उनके सामने मनोकामना की पूर्ति के लिए अनुरोध करें.
