So me and my boyfriend are moving in together. I am happy about it but it's more about convience. when I told my best friend who lives in another state she said oh god you are serious about him. does moving in automatically mean I am serious about this?

No, there are different motives of co living,theres one concept of “here and now” where instead of thinking of future marriage etc you just try living in present,so try embracing your present,theres no compulsion of serious

yes. in my opinion it might be a sign of seriousness. because it's difficult to live with someone who haven't known so your life

I don't think so. I feel it's a step which you are taking to get serious. If you both like each other then there's nothing wrong in living together.
