Divorce is a matter of concern. There is an increased trend of separation in early years of marriage. It seems that they are not ready to take any shit from men as they are fully independent earning for themselves. Is divorced rate increase because women started to work in India? @Relationshipcoachchitkala

No. I don't think so. It's because women became more aware of their rights. It's also because there has been an increase in lack of communication between partners that has led to divorce cases.

I believe, divorces can't just be accounted to a single gender. Earlier we were accustomed to the idea of adjustment from both sides men (maybe more from women than men but still from both sides to some extent) but nowadays i feel people are pretty impatient and ofcourse due to dating culture it has become harder to be monogamous. Earlier there was alot of stigma around Divorces and divorcees thus, people have been reluctant inspite of an unhappy marriage. Nowadays people and more aware about what they want n whar they don't and don't want to be stuck so i feel thats more of a reason.

Always known I was different, but never had the courage to explore it. Now that I'm retired, I'd love to connect with other LGBTQ+ women, especially older folks like myself. Any suggestions for LGBTQ+ senior groups in India?
