Hi..can anyone explain clearly about ppf scheme?is it central govt scheme??can we invest in SBI?

Yes ppf is a central government scheme . It gives interest of 7.1% . It's lock-in period is for 15 years . You can invest in it through any bank or even through post office. Min amount per year is 500 and Max is 1.5lakh .
