My mother says the sister should tie rakhi to her brother. However my friend told me that her brother had tied her a rakhi despite of him being younger than her. I'm a little confused, as to who should tie rakhi to whom ? Pls tell me the right way.

I think it completely depends on the individual and his belief. there's no wrong or right thing. anyone can tie a rakhi.
