Hi, I do have 16 yrs of experience in healthcare bpo, but now have upskilled with Excel, powerbi, SQL, prompt engineering, generative AI tools, etc. , but I don't have hands-on experience in IT. Looking for a career shift.

Hi, Its really good that you have upgraded yourself with skills. Well, if you want to switch into IT sector then if you are still working in same sector then you can ask within your firm to take some minor project to utilise these skill sets or solve any problem with these skills so that you could share build the experience.. Another case would be if you aren't working in the firm and try to look for new job in IT then try to do some internships or paid projects to gets hands on experience and then move your career trajectory into the IT domain by gaining some experience.
