Hey dear, i know how it feels, so would simply like to give two suggestions here, an effective way of communication is something can really help in this where we are choosing the right words and communicating without hurting them 2nd is, by following certain boundaries and actually doing the things with them exactly the same way as we expect them to do with us. Slowly they will strt following the same.

Hello, your realisising that you are falling in the people pleasing trap and wanting to come out of it is a big first step. Next everytime you ant to commit to something, ask yourself if you would be struggling to do it or comfortable doing it. accordingly convey to the other party polietly that you will not be able to manage.initially people will feel bad, but when you explain yourself, they would understand after all they are family n friends.

Being in a professional journey, we can identify the soft skills easily which can be transferable. e.g. Communication Skill, teamwork. You need to reflect these skills which are always transferable.

Create a time table for her. Give frequent short breaks while studying Reward her even for small achievements that she has made. Tell her marks don't really matter in the end.

In fight we always expect to change others. But in reality, it cannot happen that way. To make your husband calm infront of your kids, first you need to take initiative to make yourself calm when he misbehaves. once you start taking initiative, he doesnt have anything to say. Another thing, find your triggers when your husband misbehaves so that you could avoid responding on it infront of your kids

Hi. Hope you are doing well. I am really sorry that you have to go through this. Sounds super traumatic :( I feel it’s important for you to have an assertive and straightforward conversation about this with your husband and MIL. Keep the tone as calm as possible, maintain eye contact and try to understand why they are doing what they are doing. Such issues always have reasons. It might be possible that during this conversation, they may be rude with you, but make sure you hold your ground and stay cool. Secondly, try to look for some social support like your side of the family or your friends. If you are unwilling to involve your family into this, then try to speak to some friends. In such situations, having a social circle really helps. If possible, try to seek therapy to cope with this better. Take care
