How are the customs regarding abstaining from touching deities such as Krishna during menstruation understood and practised within Hindu tradition?

hi koushaki. menstruation is an apana wind energy...which means the energy to release and go down. a dieties energy is that of the heart (such as Krishna) or higher chakras ...which is very counter productive to menstruation health of a woman and thus they are not advised to go to temples or do Puja while menstruating
