Hello , I feel “honeymoon phase “ is just a tag , couples can keep the spark ignited by making small gestures always. Sometimes people stop taking efforts thinking now we are together why to take efforts when the other person is already mine , if we change this mindset into why not take efforts for the person and keep them happy from small gestures of mine .
Though travelling together maybe a good idea for understanding each other but I personally think that you should first have a convo with him first and then you both should try together to understand each other
