Things earned during marriage belong to both equally but that's not what happes. Why do most women have the advantage during/get so much after a divorce? @DrSapna

The perception that most women have the advantage and receive more in divorce settlements may stem from various factors, including historical, societal, and legal considerations. While it's true that women may sometimes receive financial support or custody of children in divorce settlements, it's important to understand the reasons behind these outcomes and how they aim to achieve fairness for all parties involved.

It would be a good idea to have definite facts before coming to such conclusions.

Why do most women divorce their husbands once they lose their jobs? @RC_Mayanka
Why does the woman get the house after divorce. I have been seeing all this men in Instagram comments complaining about alimony etc it does seem a bit unfair.... @Nazneen
There's so much cases which are not talked about in India. I only heard about how men leave their women for various reasons until I got to know about the stats today. Women actually divorce more men than they do for whatsoever reasons. But why is this happening so often now. Why can't men be a lil sensible about their relationships for one woman atleast?? @Relationshipcoachchitkala
My friend recently got married and only in 2 weeks she decided that her husband can't satisfy her and keep her happy. The thing is she got to know her Husband has a small penis which she didn't liked and is very angry about this. Now I'm thinking is it legally correct to file for divorce if you found that your husband has a small penis? @DrSapna
Lately it seems like more and more of my female friends and family members have been the ones initiating divorce proceedings with their husbands. I can't help but wonder - what's driving this trend of women being the ones asking for divorce more often these days? Is it because we're becoming more financially independent and don't feel stuck in unhappy marriages? Or are we just generally more empowered to prioritize our own needs and happiness? @Relationshipcoachchitkala
is anyone lawyer here. I m facing serious issues in my marriage. I want to know my rights.. I m in a very tourcherous situations right now
Why are educated women heading towards divorce more than uneducated women? @Relationshipcoachchitkala
I know someone, my relative actually. she started living separately from her husband because they had issues going on. They are now separate from 2 years I guess. The thing is I'm thinking why aren't they getting divorced officially. Why to remain connected legally if they have so many problems. I don't understand this idea of them. I'm completely confused. Why do most women not go for divorce and rather just choose to live separately after a failed marriage? @Nazneen

Women's rights refer to the fundamental rights and freedoms that every woman and girl should have, regardless of their race, age, religion, nationality, or socio-economic status. These rights are based on the principle of gender equality and should apply in all spheres of life, including social, political, and economic domains. Key aspects of women's rights include: 1. **Political Rights:** Women should have the same rights as men to vote, run for political office, and participate in all levels of government. This also includes their right to influence policies and laws that affect their lives. 2. **Economic Rights:** Women should have equal access to employment and fair working conditions. They should receive equal pay for equal work, have the right to own property, and have equal access to economic resources such as education and training. 3. **Social Rights:** Women should have access to all social services, including healthcare and education. This also includes the right to live free from gender-based violence, harassment, and discrimination. 4. **Reproductive Rights:** Women should have the right to control their reproductive health and choices. This includes the right to access contraception, safe and legal abortion, and quality reproductive healthcare. 5. **Legal Rights:** Women should be equal before the law, with the right to sue and be sued, and the right to testify in court. They should also be protected by laws that penalize gender-based violence and discrimination. 6. **Cultural Rights:** Women should have the right to freely participate in the cultural life of their community, and to be free from cultural practices that harm or discriminate against them. Despite significant progress in many parts of the world, women's rights are still violated or neglected in many contexts. Advocacy for women's rights seeks to challenge and change these circumstances, with the aim of achieving equality and justice for all women.more
