The division of assets, including the family home, after a divorce can vary depending on many factors, including the laws of the country or state, the financial situation of both parties, and any agreements made during the marriage. In some cases, the woman may be awarded the family home for various reasons, such as having primary custody of any children or needing a stable living environment. However, this is not always the case, and asset division can be negotiated or determined by a judge based on the specific circumstances of each divorce. As for alimony, or spousal support, it's designed to ensure that both parties can maintain a reasonably similar standard of living after divorce, especially if one spouse has significantly higher income or financial resources than the other. Alimony payments are not exclusive to women; in some cases, men may also receive alimony if they are financially dependent on their ex-spouse.

All the assets are distributed fairly in complying with the law of the land. In case the woman is not earning and has the custody of kids then there are extra benefits given. but generalisation this, not based on the facts and figures is unfair .

I am a first year student. I had an ex who was abusive to me. coincidentally we got admission in the same college. I see him everyday and he is happy and ignores me. but online he was showing few signs of missing me like using my name for his spotify profile and making playlists, putting a story on my birthday etc. I feel like I'm stuck. everytime I see or hear something about him I get anxiety attack. I can't breathe. I can't focus on my studies at all. what should I do?
I'm really sorry you're going through this. It’s completely normal to feel anxious when faced with reminders of a painful past, but it's important to prioritize your mental health. It might help to set boundaries and focus on self-care. I'd encourage you to join my live sessions from 10-12 in morning and 9-12 at night. You don’t have to face this alone—feel free to reach out to me, and we can work through this together.

Is Divorce rate higher if you live together first?
Anonymous4d
Research suggests that couples who cohabit before marriage may have a higher divorce rate compared to those who do not. Factors like relationship stability, communication, and commitment play significant roles. Cohabiting can sometimes lead to a more casual approach to marriage, which might influence long-term outcomes. However, this is a complex issue and can vary based on individual circumstances and cultural factors.

"I need to talk to my partner about not wanting to live together, but I'm worried about how they might react. What’s the best way to approach this conversation?"
Anonymous4d
Having a conversation about not wanting to live together can be challenging, but honesty is key. Start by choosing a calm, private setting where you both feel comfortable. Clearly express your feelings, focusing on your reasons rather than placing blame. For example, you might explain that you value your independence or need more time to strengthen the relationship before taking that step. Encourage an open dialogue, allowing your partner to share their thoughts and feelings too. It’s important to listen actively and be empathetic, as this decision may be disappointing for them. Ultimately, approaching the conversation with respect and understanding can help both of you navigate this sensitive topic more effectively.

I fought with my husband for the first time after our marriage. We tied the knot a month ago and now i have no clue how to get back after the fight. He doesn’t think he is wrong nor do i feel that i was wrong. How can i repair the relationship and sought the fight??
Hey don’t shy away from fights. Having arguments is okay and completely fine. Always remember that it’s the argument or topic which you fought upon was difficult and not the relationship. Calmly address your feelings and thoughts to your partner and your partner as well to do the same. Remember that it’s not ‘You vs Me’ but ‘You both as a Couple vs the Problem’.

Hey guys. I've always been in a toxic household and wanted to leave just as soon as I can. I couldn't go out for my studies as they didn't allow me but now when I'm in a stable and loving relationship I'm thinking of getting into a live in. Now the thing is my parents aren't allowing it and my boyfriend is pestering me. What do I do now.???
Why is your boyfriend pestering you for it? You should first consider everything and then go for it. And try to persuade your parents more(ik its hard with strict parents, can totally relate)
Hey there, Getting pressured by both sides can certainly be uncomfortable and challenging to deal with, but it's also your decision about your life so try to analyse the pros and cons of either step you wish you take and understand what might be good for you. It can certainly be uncomfortable to get out of your comfort zone, but if it benefits you in the future, then it might even be worth it :)

What does one do if the husband cheats on you
Anonymous25d
You should leave him. File a divorce.
Anonymous-2d
you should just walk away and get to live your life on your own terms.

My husband has cheated on me. I have also forgiven. He stayed there for a few months now. But now again he avoids me. He is not interested in having sex with me. Neither does it give me any financial or emotional sleep. I don't understand what to do. He told me once that he was not interested in me. Abhi says yes but as always only with excuses. But she had feelings for having an affair. What should I do? But if I leave, if I leave you, I have a child.. I have a daughter.
Anonymous24d
hy sandy1290 though i dont have right to speak in your personal matter but i still want to say it that if their is no love ,no affection no respect an you knows it well just because of your daughter how much you will suffer .this is yoyr life if he can live his life by hurting you than why you cant live with your daughter alone. please think about your self take a hard step it will give little pain to u but in future you can breath happily stay happy an can live better with your daughter.
Hi.. hope you are well! I can understand the kind of pain and mental conflict you are going through. Before taking any decision you need to make yourself feel mentally and emotionally strong. If you are able to have a peace of mind then you can think carefully and support your daughter. Being financially independent is also a key. Please focus on these areas. Post this you will see that you are able to make better life choices.

Women's rights refer to the fundamental rights and freedoms that every woman and girl should have, regardless of their race, age, religion, nationality, or socio-economic status. These rights are based on the principle of gender equality and should apply in all spheres of life, including social, political, and economic domains. Key aspects of women's rights include: 1. **Political Rights:** Women should have the same rights as men to vote, run for political office, and participate in all levels of government. This also includes their right to influence policies and laws that affect their lives. 2. **Economic Rights:** Women should have equal access to employment and fair working conditions. They should receive equal pay for equal work, have the right to own property, and have equal access to economic resources such as education and training. 3. **Social Rights:** Women should have access to all social services, including healthcare and education. This also includes the right to live free from gender-based violence, harassment, and discrimination. 4. **Reproductive Rights:** Women should have the right to control their reproductive health and choices. This includes the right to access contraception, safe and legal abortion, and quality reproductive healthcare. 5. **Legal Rights:** Women should be equal before the law, with the right to sue and be sued, and the right to testify in court. They should also be protected by laws that penalize gender-based violence and discrimination. 6. **Cultural Rights:** Women should have the right to freely participate in the cultural life of their community, and to be free from cultural practices that harm or discriminate against them. Despite significant progress in many parts of the world, women's rights are still violated or neglected in many contexts. Advocacy for women's rights seeks to challenge and change these circumstances, with the aim of achieving equality and justice for all women.more
