Hi, I’m Karnika, a licensed psychologist with a master's degree in Counseling Psychology and over 5 years of professional experience. In this time, I've had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including both adults and children, and have seen over 500 clients. My journey into psychology began from witnessing the struggles people face with mental health issues and the stigma that often prevents them from seeking help. This fueled my desire to create a safe, supportive space where people feel empowered to grow and thrive. I believe in the profound connection between the mind and body, and how this relationship influences our overall well-being. My approach is eclectic, tailored to the unique needs of each client, and primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), relaxation therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), behavior therapy, and neurolinguistic programming (NLP). My areas of expertise include working with stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship concerns, grief, body image concerns, self-growth, work-life balance, self-awareness, and anger management. I am committed to using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster personal growth, resilience, and well-being in each person I work with. How can I connect more with people despite of feeling isolated and lonely. I want to put in 109% efforts from my side and want to make myself better.

Start by joining groups or clubs that interest you or are based on your hobby or interest you care. about. Remember, to get better, it's important to accept where you are and gradually expose yourself to situations where you can feel connected. By joining social groups, we can build meaningful relationships and get opportunities to work on our selves.

How do I start moving myself towards more of spirituality because ppl say spirituality gives mind a sense of peace. Is that actually true??

Is it normal to feel that my prayers are never being answered?? Its taking a toll on my mental health as everything i pray for, is just not happening. How can I train my mind to see the positives in every situation??
Hi, I am Karnika and I am a psychologist. It's normal to feel that your prayers are not answered, which can make you feel disappointed and powerless. However, we can shift our focus by understanding what we can and cannot control. While we cannot control whether our prayers are answered, we do have control over our thoughts and feelings. To slowly build positivity, start by maintaining a daily journal where you write down three things you are grateful for or things that made you happy today. This small but powerful step can help gradually shift your mindset toward the positive.

I feel loneky despite of being surrounded by my friends ane family. I don’t think they understand this feeling. The feeling of loneliness inspite of being in the circle. How can I deal with this growing feeling?? And how caj i make myself feel better??
