What if your mother in law tells you not to go for your delivery to your parent’s place … and insists that you stay with your in-laws for those months … How fair is it

It's definitely not fair. It's you choice to stay where you want to. Especially during this time she needs her mother and her family to support her. One thing that can be done is that you can stay for some x days with them and then with your parents.

It's important to prioritize your well-being and make decisions based on what you feel is best for you and your baby. Communicate your concerns with your mother-in-law and discuss a solution that ensures your comfort and health during the delivery and postpartum period.

Try to communicate your feeling. and also know the reason why she is telling such way. discuss with your life partner choose the perfect solution. By ur MIl's words don't come into bad mood. because it gonna stop ur thinking ability. during this state there are chances to take a control on ur desicions by some other person.
