In the older times, chudails were the "female bhoots" instilled with negativity. Who was not liked by many but feared by all. But today, if a woman stands up for herself or even does something little for her own hapyshe is labelled as a bad woman. Today times have changed but also some people have gone too far with their orthodox mentality. Do you think with times and eras shifting women are being called out for things which are not so "witchy" ???

Yes definitely, forget the west India has always been slightly open when it comes to sexuality but look at today's landscape where some are either accepting or they straight up hate on other sexualities.

yes, and if taking stand for herself is named by" chudail" then it will be ok in this period of time as to deal with devil, chudail comes along side by side. A women sometimes takes decisions to overcome the shady times, which comes with lot of negativity itself..

Is it really tough as a single woman (separated, divorced, widowed, unmarried) in India? Can you share your experiences, both pleasant or unpleasant? @Zanzanil
Hey @Zanzanil My sister recently got divorced. Being an engineer she was treated like a slave, she tried to make it work for one whole year, you just can't believe what she went through… In spite of being intelligent, beautiful and well-educated, she was afraid to leave that hell just thinking of what people would think about her. Why is divorce still a taboo for women in India? Even though the husband physically abuses her, society expects women to adjust. Why?
