Regular Pap smears screen for cervical cancer and precancerous changes in the cervix. They can also detect certain sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as human papillomavirus (HPV), chlamydia, and gonorrhea.

No, I don't take pap smear test regularly as the experience of collection of sample of cervix gets very uncomfortable and embarrassing.
