Hey Here are some foods that can support breast feeding and lactation 1) Whole Grains: Whole grains like brown rice, quinoa, and barley provide complex carbohydrates for sustained energy and are rich in vitamins and minerals like B vitamins and zinc. 2) oats- oats are rich in iron and is a good source of energy. It also helps in increasing the milk production. 3) leafy greens- such as spinach and methi leaves are rich in calcium, iron, and other vitamins and minerals 4) lean protein - Lean protein sources such as poultry, lean beef, tofu, and eggs provide essential amino acids for both mother and baby's growth and development. 5) calcium rich foods - Dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese are excellent sources of calcium, which is essential for bone health in both mother and baby. 6) Fatty fish is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are crucial for brain development in infants. They also provide protein and vitamin D. This vitamin D can help in calcium absorption.

@Mummalove by Diajadwani , I'm soon-to-be a first-time mom and I've noticed that I'm only producing a small amount of colostrum, which is the first milk that comes out of the breast. Is this normal? I'm curious about the typical range of colostrum production in first-time mothers and whether the quantity I'm experiencing falls within that range.
Is it normal to only have a small amount of colostrum, the first milk that comes out of the breast? Will I have enough milk for my baby? @Mummalove by Diajadwani
Hello @Mummalove by Diajadwani , my child is currently 3 years old, and during breastfeeding sessions, he tends to bite me, leaving many marks and causing considerable pain. I've noticed instances where I see blood above my nipple, which is concerning. I'm seeking advice on how to manage the pain and promote healing in this area. Could you please provide recommendations on what I can do to recover and ensure a healthier breastfeeding experience?
Being a new parent is an around-the-clock job, regardless of how you feed your baby. Breastfeeding is a learned skill, and just like anything you’re doing for the first time, it takes practice and patience to master. Breastfeeding is also a matter of supply and demand. In those first few weeks, breastfeed on demand (when your baby lets you know he or she is hungry) to establish a good milk supply that will keep your baby growing at a healthy pace. Why does breastfeeding seem so challenging? @Mummalove by Diajadwani
