You can definitely go for barrier methods like condoms/ female condoms/ diaphragms, etc. They not only prevent unwanted pregnancy but also provide protection from STIs Hormonal contraceptives are good but some of them can have multiple side effects like weight gain, mood swings, stress, etc. So see which method suits you the best!

Who said that sex can't be done after menopause? Menopause means only periods stop. If you remain sexually active during peri menopausal period, take care of vaginal health and continue to do it, you can still enjoy the sex. Actually after menopause, estrogen and progesterone decrease but Testosterone doesn't. Rather because other two are reduced, Testosteron's ratio with them increases. So effects of testosterone increases which increases libido. If you remain active and take care of yourself, anyone can enjoy sex after menopause. Rather it's a period when you will be free from fear of pregnancy. But for that maintenance of your body, emotions plays a crucial role. It builds your self esteem and confidence. Your relationship with partner is also important. Both partners can still enjoy their sexlife fully if they are connected deeply and ready for exploration.

Your vagina is a muscular wall. When aroused it relaxes and is lubricated to allow for penetration. Otherwise it is in a contracted state. Regardless of the number of times you've had sex before, there will be no impact of the "looseness" of your vagina. The only thing that may impact it to an extent is vaginal childbirth. While your vagina for the most part may go back to its normal state, it can undergo some changes. If your husband feels this way maybe talking to him and understanding where this is coming from might help. Sometimes it could be a reflection of something else that is going on.

Why do you want to control sex? Do your partner is not available/ incapable/ you have lost interest in him? Please confirm the reason, treatment will be accordingly. Many times we get such thoughts and our partner couldn't fulfill it, so we think like that. Then the reason has to be treated. Sometimes actually we got excess thoughts because we couldn't get sufficient from our partner. Continuous suppression of urge can inversely cause such effect and sometimes one can lose control and choose infidelity also. You thought that may be there could be medicines to control sex , but actually it's not exactly like that. You have to work on yourself, try to engage yourself in other hobbies or work so slowly such emotions can get reduced. in case you failed to do so, then you have to consult a Sexologist for its treatment.
