My friends mother is very active sexually. She is very much interested in sexual pleasure even though she had a menopause 2 years back. I got confused like how it's like having sex after menopause. @docmfrank

I'm not sure but I think before menopause she was doing sex to get pregnant and now even after menopause she can do sex.

Who said that sex can't be done after menopause? Menopause means only periods stop. If you remain sexually active during peri menopausal period, take care of vaginal health and continue to do it, you can still enjoy the sex. Actually after menopause, estrogen and progesterone decrease but Testosterone doesn't. Rather because other two are reduced, Testosteron's ratio with them increases. So effects of testosterone increases which increases libido. If you remain active and take care of yourself, anyone can enjoy sex after menopause. Rather it's a period when you will be free from fear of pregnancy. But for that maintenance of your body, emotions plays a crucial role. It builds your self esteem and confidence. Your relationship with partner is also important. Both partners can still enjoy their sexlife fully if they are connected deeply and ready for exploration.
