#AskDocM Are positive pregnancy tests always accurate? Share in the comments. A 23-year old woman told me that she is late by two days. She took a pregnancy test and it shows that she is pregnant? Are these tests accurate? She doesn't want to have a baby now. What can she do?

I've heard that home pregnancy tests can be quite accurate. but they can sometimes yield false results. Consult a doctor for confirmation and, if necessary, for further guidance or processes

Sometimes the positive Pregnancy test can be false especially if it is a faint line . Rarely a positive test may indicate an Ovarian Tumor. So always consult your Gynac when in doubt.

I'm a new mother struggling with postpartum depression, and I feel ashamed to ask for help. How can I overcome the stigma and seek support for my mental health? @Natasha Singh
Anonymous2d
You shouldn't feel ashamed. It's ok to feel this way. Asking for help doesn't make you weak, infact it shows your strength that u r taking therapy to fight for your mental health.
It's always good to talk to an expert about this. it will reveal certain things that you may not be aware of and it will result in you taking actions towards your solution. Be positive and see what happens rather than concluding that nothing will happen..there is no question of feeling ashamed! You can use this platform too to make a start. There are Drs, mental health experts, join their community a ND ask your questions to start with. Tc, Preetha

For any couples it's really becomes task when they keep on trying for pregnancy. Women become ovulation monitoring tool and males become sperm production tool. Without emotions, those try goes on failing you and you become frustrated. So while trying for pregnancy, don't Only concentrate on dates & ovulation. Enjoy your personal moments and don't do sex for making child. You are not machine to start & stop on instructions. Enjoy those moments and your secretions will be favorable for pregnancy. If your partner enjoys this, his semen will have proper quantity and quality. Military personnel don't look for ovulation and come on holiday accordingly. But when they meet their wives, both of them are so into each other that their hormones will automatically arrange their body parameters in favour of their best possible conditions. So their wives become pregnant. Educated couples keep on searching for technical things & lose emotions in the act. Enjoy your sexlife, pregnancy will occur
