Hello, so sorry to know about your pet. I know losing a pet can be so difficult emotionally. But yes this is something no one has a control on. Remember the good time, the love that you shared with your pet and keep that close to your heart. Have gratitude for the love that you exchanged with it.

See AllDear Pet Parents, I am Dr. Karishma Gupte (M.V.Sc.) from Mumbai. I am veterinary physician and surgeon. I help pet parents to formulate homemade meals for their pets. Each life stage of pet (puppy, adult, senior) require different type of diet for their optimal growth and nourishment. Also, in disease conditions like kidney issues, liver issues etc. pets require special type of diet. Commercially available pet food is expensive as well as may be filled with ingredients that act as fillers which do not provide optimal nutrition to our pets. Homemade pet food is more nourishing as well as cheaper and way healthier option if properly balanced for individual pet. Every dog or cat gets his own, unique recipe/s based on his weight, age, life stage and various other parameters. Yes it's an extensive task but totally worth the effort. In my 13 years of experience, I have seen many pets leading better lives when they were switched from commercial to home cooked meals. And no, cooking at home for your pets is not time consuming at all. A one pot meal option works great too. Let's make this community all about pet food. If you have any questions regarding what should be included in your pet's diet please feel free to ask. I will surely answer. I will keep posting more about pet food here. Hoping to keep the community live and buzzing!more
