My partner and I've been lately very close and we really wanna try to the backdoor of intimacy, you know what I mean but I'm very scared too. Thinking about the discomfort so I researched and found that using lubricants and moisturizers would help in that. I just wanted to confirm that if they have any side effects or any other impact on my health. ?? And also how should I choose what products to choose. @dockalpana
Only use of lubrication is not sufficient when you think about rear entry. It's a delicate and thin lined part, so very often gets hurt. So proper communication with your partner and being relax for it is first and foremost important. Also profound foreplay, stretching of it beforehand is also mandatory. There are certain positions that helps you be easy while entering are mentioned in my post. Just go through it. Wish you best of luck dear 👍 Hey! Recently a friend of mine came out of the closet and she is too confused about her new identity. Although she is happy that she accepted herself this early but still. Yesterday she asked me about her health care. As in now she is a bit how should she take care of her sexual wellness. Is there something specific to be done. ?? @dockalpana Can you help with this ??
If she feel that she’ll be safe and accepted coming out to everyone, that’s awesome! If she is not, she might want to start by coming out where it’s safest: whether that’s amongst your family members or friends. she may find it helpful to start with one trusted person. Prepare for questions and potential disbelief. Our society is still not that open. Maybe she feel uncomfortable for some days. Even well-intended and open-minded people might need time to accept it. But eventually they will accept it. Lean on your chosen community and surround yourself with a support system. When you are comfortable in your community, you are free to make your decision about how you want to be? whom you want to date?etc. It’s an ongoing, never-ending process. But if you believe in yourself, everything will be fine with time

Hey there! Lately, I've been thinking about the connection between what we eat, how we live, and our reproductive health. Everytime I eat something random, my mother scolds me and say you are a girl so you need to think before you eat anything. It's irritating me so much these days. Please tell me can our diet and lifestyle choices really impact the whole baby-making?
Hi there, I hope you are well. You can eat your favourite foods but occasionally. It's not that you've to cut down on everything because you've to make babies, later :) You need to live, and enjoy your life as well. But yes, eating too many unhealthy foods is likely to impact your hormones, period, and overall health. Hence , keep it minimal...have enough protein, fibre, and good fat to your diet :)

Hey, I've got a question that's been on my mind lately, and I'm hoping you might clear my mind. I'm a bit in the dark about how sexual health effects our overall well-being. I've got information here and there, but I'm not quite sure about the whole picture. @Sexologist_DrKalps
Sexual health definitely boosts up your overall mood and confidence and the rush leads to the release of serotonin which in easier language is the happy hormone.

I've been feeling a bit embarrassed to talk about this, but I really need some advice on keeping things clean down there. It's like no matter what I do, I can't seem to find the right hygiene practices. I want to make sure I'm taking care of myself properly, but I'm not sure where to start. I know it's kind of a personal topic, but I figure we're all adults here, and it's important to take care of ourselves. So, if you have any tips or suggestions. @Sexologist_DrKalps
You should not be embarrassed asking this question. You should be aware of importance of hygiene of your genitals. External area of genital can be washed with warm water and soap during bath. But vagina don't need it, as it's a self cleaning organ. Practices to maintaina healthy vagina are: avoiding harsh soaps, using warm water for washing, wearing breathable cotton underwear, and avoiding overdouching. Removal of public hair as per your choice- but again don't use harsh chemicals for it. You can use raiser specially made for it. Factors like antibiotics, hormonal changes, unprotected sexual activities and wrong hygienic practices like regular use of vaginal douch can disturb your vaginal pH. So avoid it.

I'm not sure about the frequency and process of Pap smears. Can you explain how often I should have them and what happens during the test? @DrNikita_DSexologist
There's a self sample collection kit that has been invented to protect the women from the embarrassment. After the sample collection, you can give it to any laboratory for the test results then.
Answer
I've been thinking a lot about the importance of consent in sexual encounters lately. It strikes me as such a fundamental aspect of any intimate relationships. @Sexologist_DrKalps
Consent is crucial in sexual encounters because it ensures that both partners involved willingly and enthusiastically participate. It promotes mutual respect, trust, and communication, creating a safer and more enjoyable experience for everyone. Everyone's comfort will matter. But those who are not interested in taking consent, want to use someone or something unfairly for their own advantage. If consent is not obtained in a encounter, it can lead to various negative consequences, including emotional harm, trauma, and legal repercussions. It can damage trust and relationships, contribute to feelings of violation and powerlessness, and perpetuate a culture of sexual violence.

The Intimate Dilemma: An Emotional Rollercoaster of Crying After Orgasm🥲 Have you ever experienced a wave of conflicting emotions after reaching peak pleasure during an orgasm? The juxtaposition of euphoria followed by an unexpected bout of tears can leave many individuals feeling confused and vulnerable. In this post, we delve into the phenomenon of crying after orgasm, also called as post-coital tristesse (PCT) or colloquially termed ‘crymaxing’ Statistics 📊 The experience of crying after orgasm is more common than you might think. According to statistics, at least 45% of women have experienced crying after sex once in their lifetime Causes😢 * It’s a complex interplay of emotions that arises from the intense physical and emotional release that accompanies climax. * Physical factors like pain, vaginismus, lack of lubrication or any physical discomfort could cause one to cry * Psychological reasons like having underlying depression, anxiety, battling with shame or guilt and relationship issues could also cause one to shed tears post orgasm * Hormones like oxytocin and dopamine reach their peak during orgasm but drastically crash right after, which causes one to burst into tears as well * Stored trauma in the body from previous abuse or distress can also be released through orgasm and can be cathartic for some people too. This could also indicate buried or repressed feelings that need to be brought to the surface and worked through How to Manage😅 • Navigate post-orgasm tears with self-compassion, reflection, and open communication. Remember this is a common experience and nothing to feel ashamed about •Identify triggers and express your needs to your partner. Engage in supportive aftercare to regulate your emotions •Seek professional help from a sex therapist if it starts interfering with your sex life or relationship No matter what you may need to process or work through, give yourself compassion because you deserve to have sex and satisfying sex!❤️✨

🌸 Navigating Dyspareunia in Women: Unveiling the Impact of Pain during Sex🌸 Causes 🔄: Dyspareunia, affecting many women, stems from physical factors like infections, dryness, cramps, fibroids, cysts, lack of arousal, pelvic disease to psychological factors such as anxiety, vaginismus and even relationship trauma. Notably, in cultures like India, guilt and shame associated with tabooed nature of sex may exacerbate this condition, calling for a comprehensive approach. Statistics 📊: Studies reveal 10-20% of women experience dyspareunia, yet societal taboos contribute to underreporting. Breaking silence is crucial to destigmatize the condition and encourage women to prioritize their sexual health. Therapy as a Solution 🌈: In the face of dyspareunia, therapy offers promise. Approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychosexual therapy unravel emotional aspects, providing coping mechanisms. In India, addressing guilt and shame becomes integral to holistic healing, empowering women to embrace their sexuality. Empowering Through Communication 🤝: Therapy becomes a platform for couples to navigate open conversations. In India, where cultural dynamics add complexity, therapists facilitate dialogues fostering empathy, intimacy, and joint efforts toward overcoming challenges, including guilt and shame. Pain assessment, diagnosis of underlying physical disorders, pelvic floor therapy, etc can all help in many ways. In addition to professional help, adding more lubrication to prevent friction, increasing foreplay time, connecting with your partner to put them at ease and increase arousal, trying positions that work and communicating with your partner at every step of the way becomes important in changing sex from being painful to pleasurable 🌸
Much needed information, thankyou

🌸 Embracing the Connection Between Emotions and Intimacy 🌸 Let's dive into a topic that might be a bit unexpected but totally valid – feeling a little frisky when you're navigating those low moments. It's true - our emotional and intimate worlds are more intertwined than we often realize. Research has shown that, contrary to what we might assume, some people experience heightened sexual arousal during periods of sadness. It's not about ignoring emotions; sometimes, it's about seeking comfort in that sweet release, those moments of elation that an orgasm can bring. What's the science behind it? Well, let's talk oxytocin and dopamine – the powerhouse neurotransmitters released during an orgasm. These little chemicals can work wonders, temporarily lifting our mood and providing a much-needed boost of feel-good vibes. It's like a mini spa day for your brain! Remember, everyone's journey is unique, and it's essential to honor your feelings. So, if you find yourself feeling this connection between emotions and intimacy, know that you're not alone! Share your thoughts and experiences too!🌺

🌟 Let's Talk Relationships: Navigating Disagreements Wisely 🌟 Disagreements are an inherent part of any relationship, but how we handle them makes all the difference. Here's a guide on steering clear of destructive behaviors and fostering a healthy resolution: 🚫 What's Wrong: Criticism: Avoid criticizing your partner's character. Instead, focus on the issue at hand without attacking them personally. Contempt: Mocking, sarcasm, or disrespectful behavior can be toxic. Always communicate respectfully, even during disagreements. Stonewalling: Shutting down or withdrawing during conflicts can be hurtful. Keep the conversation open and engage constructively. Defensiveness: Instead of becoming defensive, try to understand your partner's perspective. Being defensive often escalates the issue. 👍 What's Right: Openness and Respect: Create a safe space for open communication. Respect each other's feelings and opinions, even when you disagree. Active Listening: Practice active listening without interrupting. Understanding your partner's viewpoint is crucial for resolution. Taking Responsibility: Acknowledge your role in the conflict. Taking responsibility shows maturity and a willingness to work through issues. Seeking Solutions: Focus on finding common ground. It's about collaboration, not competition, to find resolutions that work for both. Remember, disagreements can strengthen relationships if handled with care. Avoiding destructive behaviors and fostering healthy communication can lead to understanding, growth, and a stronger bond. 💬💕 #Relationships #HealthyCommunication #RespectfulDisagreements
