Do you think what Poonam Pandey did was right?? Yes, Cervical Cancer is an issue which needs more awareness and attention but that doesn’t mean you mislead an entire nation right?? The PR stunt was very unique but a very fake and deceptive one. What are your thoughts?? #bollywood #bollywoodcommunity

I definitely agree there is a need for awareness about Cervical Cancer. But what Poonam Pandey was not at all justifiable. Although her intentions and her cause was right but her approach was not. She should have started a campaign or maybe some conferences and workshops could have been conducted by her to raise awareness but faking a death is very wrong.

While raising awareness about cervical cancer is important, using a PR stunt, like Poonam Pandey did, might be seen as unique but can also be considered fake and deceptive. Balancing attention-grabbing tactics with sincerity is crucial when addressing serious health issues.

I agree. Publicising death was not in good taste. I'm told the agency that orchestrated the PR stunt has got fired by the company that commissioned it.

My cuzn got divorced 3 months back. His wife was emotionally abusive and manipulative. Somehow she isolated him from everybody including family. The internet talks so much about narcissistic men but let me tell you, women too can have narcissistic personality disorder. Now I want to know, How is the life of a divorced man in India?@RC_Mayanka
Anonymous-15d
It can come as a surprise but not all men are living happily and not all women are in misery. They both have their problems and struggles. It's just about the pov
It is true that both men and women can be narcissist, but yes it is talked about most in men. as for life of a divorced man, things might be little tough when he wishes to get married again, as people will find it hard to believe that he was abused. other than that most things should be ok for him.

Why does divorce/separation affect some women’s self-esteem and confidence? @RC_Mayanka
Anonymous-13d
Ofcourse maximum women has some expectations from the relationship, women might build up their future with that person. By separation or divorce, women couldn't see the future and their dreams suddenly.. it must be empty when the person goes off from the life. Coz of that emptiness women effects psychological disturbance. In that situation they feel lack of confidence or self esteem. How long it's continue will be depends on the person.
RC_Mayanka-13d
Marriage is not just a bond between two bodies....they get attached emotionally and mentally. Its is really difficult for a person to detach from someone you loved so much. When you are trying to give your 100 percent and your partner does not care about it. Then a women's self esteem and confidence shakes.

Recently I've been experiencing something new now. I've been friends with this girl for a long time now but for a few days she's been backbiting me and talking all the bad things she can. She's talking and speaking lies and rumours about me. What should I do should I leave her or talk to her ???
If you have been friends with her for a long time then she shouldn't say such things. This basically means that something big or serious must have happen. I would advise you to have a conversation about it and ask her about it. then you should accordingly take a decision whether to be friends with her or not.

Always known I was different, but never had the courage to explore it. Now that I'm retired, I'd love to connect with other LGBTQ+ women, especially older folks like myself. Any suggestions for LGBTQ+ senior groups in India?
Humsafar Trust is one of India's oldest organisations that has been advocating for the rights and the health of LGBTQ+ individuals in India since 1993. Twice every month, they host meet-ups and workshops to bring the community together and socialise. Apart from this, the good folks at Humsafar also provide legal and psychological aid to those in distress. In cases of extortion, blackmail, or to help you through the 'coming out' phase, these are the people you can trust without any qualms. They conduct a bunch of workshops as well so do keep a check on their social media handles and website for the same. You can also search online for local LGBTQA communities and join their workshop or discussion groups. More power to you and Best of luck for the future! 👍
more power to you, I am not aware of any, but for younger folks have some

With my community ' UnBound with Mamtaa.' I am excited to put-out a stage for women from various walks of life, where they can come together and talk about their journeys and challenges. The sheer opportunity to brew conversations that are relevant, yet not so often spoken about is my biggest motivator and inspiration to form this community. Allowing discussions that are highly intimate yet maintain anonymity and privacy, the community will be a safe and transformational space for women, who want to have diffficult dialogues yet candid discussions at the same time. Topics of engagements here will range from ageism, sexism, gender diversity, LGBTQI, inclusion, acid attack survivors, domestic violence, parenting, patriarchy, sex education, etc. The community will furthermore facilitate unearthing of women's trials, fears, vulnerabilities, unlearning, failures, detractors and ‘all that goes in the making of them’. The community will be a 'go to place- for all the women looking for validation, support, a patient listening , love , approval , acceptance or just togetherness and solidarity. We always claim to know or associate with people from a yardstick, that is their accomplishments or successes. 'UnBoundwithMamtaa.' is a community that recognizes ‘the human’, behind and beyond the professional or personal success. And with these powerful exchanges and decodings , we strive to create an impact and set in a change, for which we all have been long waiting 🌟🎇more

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐈𝐖𝐆?IWG is a women's group that primarily connects women of India. It's main goal is to engage and support women; and provide a safe place for them to socialize, build and grow deep, meaningful friendships. We also welcome women of other ethnic backgrounds who are interested in INDIAN culture. It’s a place which keeps you in touch with your fellow women irrespective of you having time or not still you will receive the conversation happening in group.Imagine you switching to new office, country, work place and meet new people around and disconnects your contact with the previous colleague or friends group. You would definitely move ahead in your life but this group will keep you connected to them. You can discuss your shitty talks which you would miss if you are away from everyone. This community focuses mainly on 3 things - 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐘𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐘 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 towards IWG 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: Create a ‘Female-Family’ for females in INDIA to not only make genuine acquaintances but a space to feel belonged. Here, IWGians actively search for information of varied kind, give and take suggestions, help fellow memberss, post opinions, promote their respective businesses under group rules, attend grand meets, etc.The older you get, the more difficult it becomes to find new friends. So if you are looking to expand your network of friends, this is the place for you.more
