My friends straight up don't listen to me when I'm venting or sharing my problems. They zone out, change the subject, or give shitty advice that shows they weren't even paying attention. It's pissing me off feeling dismissed like that by people who are supposed to be my girls. How do I get through to them and make them actually hear me out without invalidating how I feel?
Just go and have a straightforward conversation with them. Just vent out everything to them about how you have been feeling. If they are your true friends then they will definitely understand you.

My mom never told me about tampons but I recently heard about it through my group of friends. I did not want to ask them because I didn’t want to feel backward. What are they?? Can women of all age use them ?
Yes, any women who is menstruating can use tampon. Only one should be cautious while using it. Unlike a pad, it is placed internally, inside of the vaginal canal. They are made of rayon, or a blend of rayon and cotton, along with synthetic fibers. Depending on your flow, it can be kept inside for 6-8 hrs. Once inserted correctly, a tampon is held in place by the vagina and expands as it soaks up menstrual blood. However, in addition to menstrual blood, the tampon also absorbs the vagina's natural lubrication and bacteria, which can change the normal pH, increasing the risk of infections. So always cautious about changing it time to time. You can use pad/tampon/menstrual cup as per your need. But while playing sports, during swimming it's better to use tampon/menstrual cup. Tampons also are easy to store in a purse or pocket. Another advantage to tampons is that they can't be felt because they're inside the body.

My best friend who is soon going to get married invited me to her Bachelorette Party. I got all excited as I have never been to a Bachelorette Party before. However she soon called me to tell that her parents and in-laws are not allowing her to throw a party. However her husband was allowed to throw one without even being questioned. Now my friend is very upset as she was excited for the party, also because it was the last time when all friends have fun before getting married.
