What formula milk should I start giving my 9 month old baby? She has been breastfed till now but I think this journey is coming to an end. Is goat milk better than cow milk formula, also which one is more similar to breast milk? @Mummalove by Diajadwani

If her milk supply is getting reduced then other healthy alternative for the baby is formula milk. My baby is 8 months old and in a mixed feed. My pediatrician personally suggested to give Dexolac. It is enriched with 36 essential vital nutrients that are good for their healthy growth.

I guess cow milk will be a good option as it's nutrition value is very good

When transitioning from breastfeeding to formula milk, both cow milk and goat milk-based formulas are options. Cow milk formula is more commonly used and is nutritionally adequate for most infants. However, if your baby has trouble digesting cow milk, goat milk formula could be a suitable alternative. In terms of similarity to breast milk, both cow milk and goat milk formulas are fortified to mimic the nutrients found in breast milk. It's best to consult with your pediatrician to determine the most appropriate choice based on your baby's individual needs and any potential allergies or sensitivities.

@Mummalove by Diajadwani , I'm soon-to-be a first-time mom and I've noticed that I'm only producing a small amount of colostrum, which is the first milk that comes out of the breast. Is this normal? I'm curious about the typical range of colostrum production in first-time mothers and whether the quantity I'm experiencing falls within that range.
Is it normal to only have a small amount of colostrum, the first milk that comes out of the breast? Will I have enough milk for my baby? @Mummalove by Diajadwani
