Is it normal to feel like your baby doesn’t like you? My 8 month old is less responsive to me than she used to be and gets fussy. She seems to really love her babysitter though and cry’s when leaving. Am I doing something wrong? @Akse

In your situation, I would be upset too. But let’s look at this more closely. You leave to go to work and the babysitter takes over. Don’t know how many hours a day you work, but let’s say 8 hours. The baby sees the babysitter at the BEST time during the day. She is awake, rested and fed. You see your own child during harder times. You need to feed her, change her and put her to bed.. You may have much less interaction with her than the babysitter. And, don’t forget you are tired from working and may not be at your best, whereas for the babysitter, this is their job. At 8 months it is natural for your child be be exploring her world a bit more and actually goes through a period where she may be a bit more concerned about people less familiar to her. She will outgrow this and it is normal.
