Nowadays, dating apps have ways to figure out who is a real Person and what is a fake profile. Secondly, if you plan to meet the person, make sure you are being safe. Prepare yourself for the worst. I am suffering with depression from past 10-12 years. I am taking regular psychiatric medicines also. But the major problem which I am facing in life is that I am having a vascillating mind. I am not able to stick to one plan for more than 2-3 days. I cannot follow anything religiously or with consistency. I lose my interest in anything I decide to do very soon. I can't even take bath daily because of mental lethargy. I have gained a lot of weight in these 10-12 years. It's 122 kg currently. I have tried meditation, yoga, walking, exercise everything. But I am not able to continue these things for a long time. I give up in 2-3 days everytime. I am 30 years old. I want to change my life. I want to get out of this vicious circle. How can I come out of it. Please widen my horizon about what is that is hindering in my life to move on and flourish and change. please advise and help me with your suggestions.
Hi! Hope you are doing well. I can completely understand what you are going through and how tough it must be. As a therapist, my recommendation would be to take baby steps: don’t start with everything all at once. Choose one good habit you wanna inculcate and do that for a week. Then next week, add on another good habit along with the previous one and so on. Change is made gradually. You cannot go from 0 to 100 in one day right? So take it slow. First go to 10, then 20, then 30 and so on. Make sure you take breaks also. Creating a schedule for yourself with both work and play can help you create a healthy balance. Take care 🩵

Have an open and assertive communication. Tell him that you feel “pressurised”, rather than “convinced”: there’s a difference between the two. How to control sex
Hi! Sexual thoughts are actually very normal. Everyone gets it and it’s absolutely natural and healthy. Controlling sexual urges or desires is completely dependent on context. Does it regularly impact your daily life priorities? If you are unable to sleep, eat or work for many weeks or months due to these thoughts, then it can actually be an issue! In that case, make sure you see a therapist. There’s a technique called as urge surfing. Look it up! If it’s not getting between your other life aspects, then it’s actually very normal!

Sounds super traumatic :( I feel it’s important for you to have an assertive and straightforward conversation about this with your husband and MIL. Keep the tone as calm as possible, maintain eye contact and try to understand why they are doing what they are doing. Such issues always have reasons. It might be possible that during this conversation, they may be rude with you, but make sure you hold your ground and stay cool. Secondly, try to look for some social support like your side of the family or your friends. If you are unwilling to involve your family into this, then try to speak to some friends. In such situations, having a social circle really helps. If possible, try to seek therapy to cope with this better. Take care
