I am Jaya. My divorce was just finalized after a very painful two-year process. I'm relieved to have closure, but struggling with feelings of failure, loss, and uncertainty about the future as a single mom to our 7-year-old son. How can I process these complex emotions in a healthy way, while also focusing on self-care and creating a positive new life for us? @Jaspreet

start small. Make yourself proud that u have a courage to come out. Another thing look for single mom groups and know how they start manage. Many a times our mind makes a lot of stories but we have all the potential to face any situation.

Just talk to your parents and tell them you are still evolving and trying to get comfortable with being into any relationship as your current priorities are taking all your time, you are not ready to marry because there are too many expectations that need to be fulfilled after getting into a relationship. you want someone who have no expectations in any relationship so it doesn't feel like a constant burden

Isolation is a trauma response. You must have had a very difficult childhood and mostly had to deal with your problems by yourself. First of all, please inform your family about what all is happening to you in your husband's home.. please don't hide anything. Mental stress is always fatal for the baby in the womb. How insanely toxic are the people who were troubling you even during the time of pregnancy. Also, your first focus should be you now. Please dont lose yourself in pleasing others. Make your husband understand in the presence of your Folks. And take a final decision. Never settle in the home where you fail to get basic respect. Life is not just about a toxic marriage.

one tends to get emotional and over emotional if he/ she is dwelling in the past and or carrying emotional baggage.... so you need to identify whats true in ur case and address the issue and start living in the present
