@Mummalove by Diajadwani , I'm soon-to-be a first-time mom and I've noticed that I'm only producing a small amount of colostrum, which is the first milk that comes out of the breast. Is this normal? I'm curious about the typical range of colostrum production in first-time mothers and whether the quantity I'm experiencing falls within that range.

Congratulations dear 🥳🥳 This is normal and usually isn't a cause for concern, but let your doctor know. While babies don't need more than colostrum for the first few days, the doctor may need to make sure your baby's getting enough to eat. It can help to breastfeed often during this time to stimulate your milk production

Yes, it's normal for colostrum production to vary among first-time mothers. The quantity you're experiencing likely falls within the typical range.

Hello @Mummalove by Diajadwani , my child is currently 3 years old, and during breastfeeding sessions, he tends to bite me, leaving many marks and causing considerable pain. I've noticed instances where I see blood above my nipple, which is concerning. I'm seeking advice on how to manage the pain and promote healing in this area. Could you please provide recommendations on what I can do to recover and ensure a healthier breastfeeding experience?
