I'm aiming to adopt healthier food habits. What are some key changes I can make that will have a long-term impact?
Hey! I am Shruti Shingvi a nutritionist with a master’s in nutrition and dietetics. Healthier food habits are very bio individual. But here’s a few ways you can get started: 1. Ensure that you’re eating a variety of fruits & vegetables throughout the day for better gut health. 2. You can start adding a source of protein in every meal eg. if you’re non vegetarian- eggs, fish, lean cuts of chicken like breast and if you’re vegetarian- dairy like paneer, yogurt or rajma/ cholle/ lentils. 3. Stay hydrated and reduce fast food consumption and packaged food consumption. For a more precise diet based on your goals please connect with me on my live sessions or communities. Hope that helps.

How can I incorporate sustainable eating habits into my daily routine to enhance my overall wellness as a woman?
Hey! I am Shruti Shingvi a nutritionist with a masters in nutrition & dietetics. To sustainably incorporate better eating habits I would definitely recommend just adding nutrient dense foods to your already existing diet. You have face yourself struggling with PCOS and the temptation of desserts? Living with PCOS, which doesn't have a definitive medical cure, often prompts us to focus on lifestyle changes like sleep, exercise, and healthy eating habits. But one common question that arises is how to manage dessert cravings or how much dessert is okay to indulge in. I'm curious about your personal journey and strategies for balancing PCOS management with enjoying desserts.
Hey! I completely understand the dessert cravings. They could be because of micronutrient deficiencies or insulin resistance. In any case lifestyle changes and nutritional interventions are definitely required. Until then I recommend making your own desserts. For example, chia pudding, protein muffins, dates stuffed with nut butter, dark chocolate, etc. This will help you manage the cravings without overindulging in them. Hope it helps. I am a nutritionist with a masters in nutrition and dietetics, if you have any further questions you can definitely connect with me.

Hey! I am Shruti Shingvi a dietitian with a master’s in nutrition & dietetics. The best diet for kids is the diet that fulfils their daily nutrient requirements according to their age, activity level and growth. I would recommend starting with ensuring they’re eating enough i.e 3 meals and a few snacks in between. Diet should consist of plenty of fruits, vegetables, dairy like dahi, paneer, milk and if they consume non veg eggs, chicken and fish can be started according to their age.
