Hey! I am Shruti Shingvi a nutritionist with a masters in nutrition and dietetics! Here are a few changes you can make to help your thyroid gland : 1. Avoid cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower raw and eat them cooked only 2-3 time per week. 2. Avoid excess millet consumption of jowar and bajra ( pearl millet and sorghum ) When consuming them soak and cook or make a fermented dosa batter. 3. Keep your soy consumption in check. 4. Always use iodised salt. 5. If you don’t eat eggs regularly eat 2 brazilnuts every day for selenium which supports your thyroid functions. If you want any personalised recommendations for your unique body and symptoms you can always reach out to me in my live sessions or tag me in your questions.
