Try this sequence with me or save it for later. It's one of my favorite flows, either as part of my mobility drill or at the end of leg day. This drill has some advanced poses, remember to be patient with your body and accept where you are today with persistence to move to where you want to be. Follow me for more flows and find links in bio for consultations and workshops. #biohacker #agereversal #functionalmovement #functionalstrength
How My Husband Handles Comments About My Bodybuilding As a female bodybuilder, I’ve faced comments about my muscular physique, and my husband, less muscular than I am, often becomes a target too. People say things like, “Dude, your wife looks manly and muscular. How can you accept this?” Instead of defending or feeling insulted, my husband simply accepts the comments with humor, replying, “Oh yeah, she is very muscular. She can definitely beat me; I don’t mess with her. I just obey what she says.” This tactic is effective because it: 1.Diffuses the Situation: By agreeing, my husband disarms the people making the comments. Their goal is usually to provoke a defensive reaction or engage in a prolonged discussion. His acceptance removes the power from their words and ends the conversation quickly. 2.Shows Confidence: His responses reflect his confidence and security in our relationship. He doesn’t feel the need to prove his masculinity or control over me to anyone, leaving the commenters at a loss for words. 3.Uses Humor: Humor lightens the mood and shows he doesn’t take the comments seriously. This makes it difficult for others to continue their teasing. 4.Demonstrates Support: His approach demonstrates deep respect and support for my bodybuilding journey. By acknowledging my strength and achievements, he reinforces the positive aspects of my dedication and hard work. This dynamic relies on psychological insight. People often tease because they expect to provoke a reaction. When my husband responds with acceptance and humor, he breaks this expected pattern, leaving them without a foothold for further teasing. This strategy is empowering for anyone facing similar situations. Accepting and owning the comments, rather than defending against them, can neutralize negativity and showcase confidence. It’s about understanding that others’ opinions don’t define us and that our self-worth isn’t tied to conforming to societal expectations.

Ever heard a kat-kat like sound while walking or doing a particular movement? Then, you aren't alone. Our knees, knuckles, and ankles make this cracking, and popping sound as we do some or the other movement, day in and day out. Reason ?Nitrogen bubbles get trapped in the synovial fluid, and on release lead to cracking sound which is considered to be normal if not accompanied by any pain. Cracking sound usually increases with age, and is harmless. It's also known as "CREPITUS". However, if it is accompanied with pain, or a dull ache , then there could be a reason behind it. Let's look at the conditions that can lead to pain, cracking, and popping of joints. ✅Arthritis- This could be a normal part of ageing, and the most common one happens to be osteoarthritis. There can be breakdown cartilage, leading to swelling and pain. This can be accompanied with a painful grinding sound. ✅Meniscus Tear-Meniscus is a cartilage that sits between weight bearing joints like tibia, and femur. In case, it is damaged, the edges can get stuck during a movement. This can become a reason for painful crepitus, and swelling. ✅Patellofemoral pain syndrome - A dull ache behind the patella (kneecap) can indicate an injury or overuse. During a movement, there can be a grating, crunching sound followed by pain. How to tackle the situation with nutrition if cracking is accompanied by pain? ✨Keep yourself hydrated ✨ Maintain a healthy weight as your body weight lies on your joints. ✨Get your Vitamin D and calcium tests done. ✨ Consume an anti-inflammatory diet. Add fresh fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, nuts, seeds, yogurt, buttermilk, fatty fish, pulses, beans, to your diet. ✨Avoid consumption of processed, refined, and processed foods. ✨Keep the consumption of salt, sugar, to a minimum. ✨Keep yourself active, and opt for low-impact exercises.
A single move that works the whole body, and is a great high-intensity move…. Trust me this one’s a real burner! Ready to amp up the heat? Wo/man makers 8 to 14 reps Rest for 45 seconds. Do 4 to 5 sets. If you want to amp it up further you can do this EMOM. EMOM (every minute on the minute) is to complete several reps within 60 seconds. Then, you use whatever time is left in that minute to rest before moving on to the next set for the next minute. Let me know if once you try it. #biohacker #agereversal #hybridathlete

Don't confuse mobility for flexibility or strength. It's your ability to move in a wider range of motion with control. This is a beginner's hip mobility routine, do each movement in its motion, don't treat it as a stretch, enjoy each movement with control, and focus on the mind-body connection. 1. Wild Child’s Pose on each side 2. World's Greatest Stretch on each side 3. Seated Forward bend motion 4. Eagle Pose on each leg
