I'm a 28-year-old woman struggling with hormonal imbalances. I've heard that Ayurveda can work wonders in restoring balance naturally. Any advice on herbs or remedies that have helped you in your journey to hormonal harmony?

Hi there, I hope you are well. While Ayurveda can help with hormonal imbalance, here are some other ways to ensure that you are able to balance your hormones. - Fibre is extremely essential because it can help in clearing excess Estrogen levels, and morever it can reduce inflammation and insulin resistance as well. Great for the gut. Add wholegrains,beans, fruits, vegetables, seeds to your diet regularly. - Protein and Omega 3 fatty acids help in balancing blood sugar levels, and Omega 3 fatty acids can reduce inflammation as well. For protein include beans, lentils, lean meat, sprouts, dairy and dairy products, nuts, seeds,eggs to the diet and you can get omega 3 fatty acids from avocado, fatty fish, seeds, nuts, olive oil, etc. - Sleep is essential for recovery, healing, rejuvenation and not getting enough sleep can increase inflammation in the body eventually affecting hormones. - Drink enough water, around 8-10 glasses to keep your metabolism going. - Eat small meals.
