Sex therapists use an assortment of evidence-based treatments to help people improve their sex lives. Most often, they use psychotherapy (commonly known as talk therapy), which involves building a talking relationship to establish and assess your feelings, thoughts and behaviors.
I suspect I might have a yeast infection, but I'm not sure about the symptoms. Also, are there any effective over-the-counter treatments I can try? @Sexologist_DrKalps

Are you a doctor? Why you want to treat your infection by over the counter medicines? Not every infection is just yeast infection dear. It can be a STD if you are having unprotected sex. Also over/illogical use of such over the counter medicines especially antibiotics can change your antigen to it's resistant strain. Next time it will not be controlled by that antibiotic. So it's better to consult your doctor for the treatment. Doctor will examine you, take complete history and then will give you Treatment as per your requirement. If necessary some tests can be advised. Don't take chance with infection. It can infect your uterus or tubes and can affect your fertility also in future.

Consult a gynecologist ASAP. Don't have any medicines on your own without your doctor advising you.

Generally, the symptoms of a yeast infection are: a lot of itchiness and white, cottage cheese looking discharge. It should ideally heal on its own in a couple of days. Make sure you wear clean and dry underwear and loose clothes. However, if it gets stretched for a longer duration, it’s best you consult a doctor. Do not take any medication without consulting a doctor
