Sex therapists use an assortment of evidence-based treatments to help people improve their sex lives. Most often, they use psychotherapy (commonly known as talk therapy), which involves building a talking relationship to establish and assess your feelings, thoughts and behaviors.
Does engaging in sexual activities help with stress relief? Are there specific activities or techniques that are particularly effective?

sexual activities like making out (foreplay), masturbation and intercourse is scientifically known to release oxytocin(love hormone), dopamine (pleasure hormone), endorphins and serotonin which are all feel good hormones that help with stress release, increased productivity, better sleep, boosts mood and much more! Not only this it helps in improving relationship with self & partner and also promotes body positivity! It's important to focus on pleasure & enjoying the moment rather than focusing on just getting orgasms. Hope this helps💜

Sexual activities are actually a great stress buster! Sexual activities, such as foreplay, masturbation, penetrative sex, oral, etc increase oxytocin, dopamine and endorphins, all of which help you feel good! 🩵 It also leads to better mood, better sleep and a better relationship with your partner and body. Take care ❤️

I'm (happily!) sexually active with my boyfriend, and let's just say oral sex is a pretty regular part of our routine. Recently, I came across something about dental dams and... honestly, I wasn't sure if they were just for specific situations or if it's something we should be using every single time. I know they can help prevent the spread of STIs, which is obviously important. But is it overkill to use one every time? Do they, like, decrease the pleasure for him? Please help thanks

So yesterday i had an argument with my bf. we have been together for about 3 years now. we both really love and support each other. My bf wants us to engage in sexual activity. However i tend to ignore this question and avoid doing it. Its not because i dont trust him, but due to my past relationship wherein i didnt have a good experience. Is it normal to regret past consensual sexual experiences? How do I tell my bf about it ?
Is sex painful?? I want to try it out but I am scared as many women say that they feel immense pain during the first time.
