How can doing yoga help keep our bodies healthier and prevent illnesses? Can you explain it in simple terms please?

Yoga is a combination that works both on mind and body. So it’s not just a physical impact but an emotional /psychological one too The stretches, and the flows are designed for each organ and muscle to strengthen and become holistically healthy. Unlike cardio which focus on muscle building and weight loss, yoga helps in getting balance, strength and focus, both in the mind and body. And also build muscle slowly and sustainably.

For example, there are different asanas that focus more on thyroid related problems and some on PCOS or some that help in pregnancy. The variety of aasanas makes it easy to fight illness through yoga
