Hi, I am Ananya Consul, I am a Psychologist. To handle a situation like this , you may want to allow yourself to accept that they have beliefs of their own like you have yours , and try to be respectful to their beliefs ( doesn't mean you have to follow them), and ask your parents to be respectful to yours. You cannot change beliefs but you can live in harmony with other's beliefs. If this helps , do join my next live

hi, can someone help me with how can i handle the pain of memories that bring more regret than joy?
Try and focus on the good. We all have our fair share of good and bad in our respective lives. It's tough, but the only solution is to delete the regretful memories and bring in more hope and positivity in day to day's life. Try and be spiritually inclined and please respect and love yourself. All you need is you, not the love of the people who push you back to the old memories and past regrets. All the best beautiful ❤️

I met a guy a week ago and we were connecting and we met for 3-4 days we were loving the company of each other and now he didn't texted or called me since we last met.......and whatever he talked about I never thought that he will ghost me but now m not sure that if he has any problem because he didn't texted me anything yet or he is just like that for now m ignoring all this and focusing on myself but then I also have to this doubt that if he was not into me then why was he saying all these stuff like I feel very listened with you, m obsessed with you and all that
It's confusing and hurtful when someone you felt a strong connection with stops communicating. Give it a bit more time, as he might be busy or need space. If you feel comfortable, send a casual message to check in and see if something specific is going on. Continue focusing on your own well-being and activities to stay grounded and reduce anxiety. Reflect on your interactions to see if there were any signs you might have missed. Remember, his actions are not a reflection of your worth. If he doesn't respond or his interest fades, it’s important to prioritize your own happiness and move forward. I am a clinical psychologist and would love to talk to you more about this in a live session

I’ve seen people tie Rakhi to gods and deities for blessings, but I’m not sure which god is best for this. If I want to make my Raksha Bandhan more spiritual, which god should I tie Rakhi to? I’m thinking about doing this, but I’d like to know if there’s a specific deity people usually choose.
Hi, dear you can tie a rakhi of Lord krishna.

How to be calm and have patience if someone irritates you
Hello, I can understand that there are times when you feel so irritated with the people around you, and it does feel very difficult to deal with the situation. Always remember that you have to protect your own peace, and that's the only thing that matters. So try to move away from such situations in any way possible.
Set boundaries for yourself and do not allow anyone to enter into your mental space

Sometimes arguments get really intense, and I’m not sure when to walk away from an argument. At what point should you step back to prevent things from getting worse? I want to avoid saying something I’ll regret but also make sure we resolve our issues. How do you find that balance?
Hello Dear. I'm a Consultant Psychologist and Sexual Health Expert. Always have conversation when you are not emotional. Give it a time, step back and come back to the conversation when you both feel at ease. Also never go without talking after an argument. Not right after but like I said, after you both are feeling okay. Hope that helps.
