It is not known exactly what causes this condition. Immobilization of the shoulder (after an arm injury, for instance) can lead to frozen shoulder. Inflammation of the muscles and/or tendons, as with rotator cuff tendinitis or bursitis, can also cause the shoulder joint to become frozen. Frozen shoulder pain can be effectively treated with physiotherapy. It can not only improve the process of healing but also eliminate the need to undergo surgery. If you are experiencing any discomfort like this condition, it is recommended that you consult a physiotherapist.

Frozen shoulder in aged people can be caused by inflammation, scarring, or thickening of the shoulder joint capsule, limiting movement and causing pain. Physiotherapy can help by stretching and strengthening exercises to improve mobility and reduce pain, along with other treatments like heat therapy and gentle manipulation.

Hello.. Yes Frozen shoulder is very common nowadays among young people also. But in aged people most of the time it is related to age related changes in the shoulder joint and muscles which leads to reduced mobility and strength. Because of the reduced use of the shoulder joint, it leads to stiffness and pain. If someone is suffering from Diabetes, they are more prone to getting frozen shoulder because of the structural changes happening in the muscles.
