Just pick your favourites from each food group For example among fruits if you like oranges or watermelon you can add that to your plate In the same way you can choose your favourite cereals, vegetables, meat/poultry etc Don’t complicate choosing the foods that you don’t like

Hi there, I hope you are well. Ideally, when we talk about a balanced plate it is likely to have foods from all food groups. Hence, you'd find the information overwhelming. However, here's what you need to do. - If it's mentioned meat, poultry, fish, then you can select either of these, and eat anyone as per your convenience. You can have fish twice a week and chicken twice a week, meat can be once a week. - Include at least 3 servings of vegetables to your routine, daily. - Have any two fruits daily, you can pick seasonal fruits for better benefits. - You can have two servings of dairy products such as curd, milk, paneer, daily ( it could be curd twice a day, milk twice a day or milk, and paneer, curd, and paneer on any given day). - Have at least 4 servings of whole grains daily. - And, consumption of chocolates, ice-creams should be occasional. I hope this will solve your doubt/s :)

hello. ideally a balanced plate consists of 50% of vegetables and fruits 25% protein and 25% cereals so 3 major meals and 2 small snacks will help to prevent overeating and as I said major meals should be your balanced plate whereas small snacks can include protein and fibre rich foods of your choice
