But beneath the surface lies an emotional struggle—one that often goes unnoticed. Imagine leaving your close-knit family in India, where evenings are spent sipping chai and sharing stories, to find yourself alone after a long workday in a foreign land. Calls home become bittersweet reminders of what you’re missing—birthdays, weddings, and the comfort of loved ones. The emotional burden grows heavier with every milestone missed. 💬 “Bas thoda aur time” (Just a little more time), we say to family, convincing ourselves and them that the sacrifices are worth it. But the emotional toll of being far from home begins to creep in. The Loneliness of Distance Many Indians face a deep sense of isolation abroad.
