Sometimes I get stomach aches or feel bloated after eating certain foods. How can I identify what might be causing these discomforts and make adjustments to my diet?
Hi there, I hope you are well. To identify common food triggers and understand which foods are leading to stomach ache, bloating, and discomfort, here's what you must do. - Prepare meals with less ingredients or avoid mixing too many things together ( say for eg-if you are preparing a dal, use one or two dals at the max). - Maintain food journal in which you can write the foods eaten and it you faced any of the above mentioned symptoms ( stomach ache, bloating, dull pain, etc) Note these foods for at least a week and then, begin eliminating a given food from the diet. - There are chances that spicy food, dairy ( milk, paneer, cheese), excessive gluten, maida or maida based products, fried foods , cruciferous veggies may lead to stomach ache or pain. - Hence, once you've noticed common symptoms with the same foods then, stop consuming it for a week or 10 days, and then, reintroduce it in smaller portions. - Please feel free to book a one-one consult with me for further guidance ✨✨
To identify food triggers for stomach aches or bloating.Keep a food diary to track symptoms after eating. Experiment with eliminating suspected trigger foods one at a time.Gradually reintroduce eliminated foods to pinpoint culprits. Consider consulting a healthcare professional or registered dietitian for guidance.

I am a very gastric person though I am just 18 but I even get sharp stomach aches if I dont anything for a long period of time and this is actually becoming a concern for me. What should I do with my diet so that I dont be such a gastric person?
Hi there, I hope you are well. You are likely feeling acidic/gastric because you may be keeping large gaps in between your meals. -Avoid keeping a gap of more than 3-4hrs in between meals. - Have your meals two hours before bedtime, and avoid having heavy meals in one go. - Have small meals, and include healthy snacks in between. - Avoid packaged, processed, and refined foods. - Avoid spicy foods, and fried foods on days you feel extremely acidic. - Have curd or buttermilk with a pinch of cumin powder, and mint leaves. - Chew mint leaves, and you can also have fennel seeds, and chew a piece of ginger whenever you face acidity. I hope this helps :)

hi I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2010 and still don't feel ok,according to my reports I am ok I have exhausted time, energy money on various doctors,I don't know what should I do and how to move forward. I feel depressed
Hello, it can be difficult to be in this situation. If your docs are saying you are ok, and you don't feel well, then please jot down your symptoms, or the reasons why you don't feel well. Analyse them, and then decide which doc you should consult for them. this way you don't have to go to every doc.....and please believe your docs if they say all is well. Stress does increase the symptoms of ulcerative colitis, so keep your mind relaxed.

Has anyone ever had a hernia? I am in a lot of pain, but I’m not sure how to relieve it while waiting for a checkup?
Anonymous-12d
Yes, hernias are relatively common, and many people experience them at some point in their lives. A hernia occurs when an organ or fatty tissue protrudes through a weak spot in the surrounding muscle or connective tissue. While waiting for a checkup, there are several steps you can take to help relieve pain associated with a hernia: Rest: Avoid strenuous activities that could exacerbate the pain or make the hernia worse. Give your body time to rest and heal. Apply Cold Compress: Applying a cold compress or ice pack to the area of the hernia can help reduce inflammation and numb the pain. Be sure to wrap the ice pack in a towel or cloth to protect your skin. Avoid Lifting Heavy Objects: Refrain from lifting heavy objects or engaging in activities that put strain on the abdominal muscles, as this can worsen the hernia and increase pain.
You should immediately consult a health doctor it is better to consult a doctor on this
